Framer Japan Community

UI/UX Design
Framer Development
[1]
Overview
Developed a template for the Framer Japan Community, Japan’s first officially recognized Framer community. The project focused on balancing a minimalist aesthetic with high customizability, ensuring the structure remains intuitive and adaptable for a wide range of user needs.
[2]
Goals
Streamlined navigation and UI elements to provide an intuitive editing experience for users of all skill levels. Established a data structure that allows for seamless content updates and high adaptability to various use cases. Designed the template to function as a learning tool, enabling users to explore and master Framer’s core features through practical application.
[3]
Insights
By intentionally limiting information density and utilizing white space as a functional element, I prioritized content legibility. The custom cursor, which reacts to images and specific zones, serves as a real-time visual feedback mechanism, guiding user interaction and enhancing the overall engagement.
[4]
Outcome
The template has been highly rated for its low barrier to entry, serving as a primary touchpoint for beginners. By providing a functional and educational asset, I contributed to fostering skill development and expanding the Framer user base.
