Overview
Led the branding, UI/UX design, and STUDIO development for illustrator Hanami Soramoto’s portfolio. Based on the concept of "browsing a dictionary," I built a navigational system that allows users to intuitively explore numerous archives, transforming the portfolio into an organized yet discovery-driven digital experience.

Goals
Stripped away redundant UI elements to ensure the illustrations remain the primary focus of the visual narrative. Implemented a dictionary-style indexing system that enables rapid access to specific works while encouraging serendipitous discovery. Visualized the illustrator’s uniqueness through the dictionary metaphor, establishing a cohesive and memorable brand presence.

Insights
To amplify the vibrancy of the primary and pastel tones found in the artwork, I selected a muted ultramarine as the background color. This choice creates a sophisticated contrast that enhances visual depth while minimizing eye strain during extended browsing.

Outcome
The bold, full-screen presentation delivers an immediate and powerful brand message upon entry. The seamless integration of the dictionary search function and the innovative contact form were highly praised as a successful fusion of high functionality and playful engagement. By implementing a robust CMS, I ensured a sustainable workflow for the client to update their expanding archive independently.
